Welcome to our web-site. Let us introduce ourselves, we are Bryan and Antoinette and we provide a Guiding and birdwatching service.

If you look at a map of Wales it is dominated by two green splodges - the one at the top represents the Snowdonia National Park, while the one near the bottom depicts the Brecon Beacons National Park. Such status, together with a collection of high mountains has had the effect of concentrating the vast majority of visitors to Wales into these two confined areas, making them hardly into places of peace and tranquility.

Mid Wales is different, it does not have National Park status, nor lung-bursting climbs up steep mountains. Therein, lies its magical charms.  Its footpaths are not eroded, nor are its roads over-crowded with traffic. And the hills are definitely not alive with the sound of walkers. Our aim is to take you on routes where the chances of seeing anyone else is minimal, therefore allowing you to contemplate on the sound of silence and be able to hear the faintest of bird or animal call.

Let us take care of the route finding, and share our love for the scenic beauty of the Mid Wales. We will give you an insight into the folk-lore, history and wildlife of the area. We will wander over the open moorland and hills, dawdle along the valleys, and idle our way through lunch at a scenic location. We will re-live the lives of the Drovers and explore the Kingdoms of the Welsh Princes.

Birds of Prey are numerous and varied in this remote landscape, and is the home and stronghold of the Red Kite, the conservation success story of this century. Other birdlife abound in the area, and Bryan, having studied birds for over 30 years can interpret and explain their habitats to young and old bird watchers alike.

Having been leading groups since 1963 throughout all parts of Wales, Bryan has a large and varied itinerary of walks which should cater for all tastes.
